About
Software for the business of a 3PL, not just its warehouse
Most warehouse systems are built to move stock. The 3PLs that use them are businesses, and the hardest parts of running one are knowing what to bill, who is profitable and how each client feels about the service. Stockist is built around those parts.
Small and mid-sized UK 3PLs tend to run on a warehouse system plus a stack of spreadsheets: one for rate cards, one for storage counts, one for the month-end invoice run, and another the owner keeps to guess which clients are worth having.
We think that information belongs in the warehouse system, captured as the work is done. When every pallet received, order picked and hour of special work is recorded against the right client, billing becomes a review rather than a project, disputes are settled with evidence, and profit by client stops being a guess.
We’re building Stockist with a small group of founding partners: UK 3PLs who tell us how they really work, and get each feature first.
